Written by Erica Rose Jackson This one has many answers, ok a few, because I write at different times and in different places. My ideal writing location is at home, in my bed, which means I’m in lounge clothes or pjs. Sometimes I write when I’m at work (discreetly) and when that’s the case then I’m in work clothes. That is not the most comfortable but the pressure and possible lack of time do yield pretty good results most of the time. I’m also in work clothes when I write at Barnes and Noble. Sometimes I’ll be on a roll but I have to get going so I take my laptop and go there before to maximize my writing time. I always have my hair up when I’m writing because I feel like I can’t see anything when its down. I can actually see but once an idea gets in your brain then you can’t unthink it. Right now, my hair is in a bun (it’s too tight), I’m on a couch with my feet up in pajamas and a comfy sweater because it’s impossible to write with a blanket wrapped around your shoulders. I have a beer and a Pepsi by my side for creative inspiration and I’m ready to go. What about y’all in the writing community, what do you write in? What’s your perfect writing environment? Share in the comments! PS: This blog challenge is going to destroy me because it’s so tedious and I can’t choose my topics. Give me strength!
